StartupGeist Podcast with Pedro Jardim
Today I welcome a special guest. He is known for building a creative co-working space in Berlin. Founded in 2011, Agora has influenced Berlin’s creative and tech scene a lot. In 2012, my own startup was based there and I loved to spend the summer in that creative environment. That’s when I met Pedro.
I interviewed him to hear his story how he built an event, co-working and so much space in Berlin. And I want to talk about his struggles with German bureaucracy, esp. as someone from abroad. He is from Brazil. I can’t even imagine to deal with German bureaucracy myself!!!! … but he did successfully so!
Because he knows it’s just a task to fulfill his dream!
Do you want to already listen to answers to my 6 rapid fire questions from the show’s guests Questions are ‘What makes a great entrepreneur?’ ‘What makes a good idea?’ ‘What startup ideas you wish someone would work on?

What was the thing that stood out most to you about what Pedro shares in this show?
For me, it was how Pedro used experiments to create case studies to help upgrade our approach to living and doing business. I know these are bold topics and yet he is a bold entrepreneur.

About the StartupGeist Show
The StartupGeist Podcast is a weekly show for aspiring entrepreneurs and freelancers. It reveals the journeys of 5 entrepreneurs over time.
Every MONDAY, one of them shares an update on their progress. How they plan to achieve their next goal or deal with overwhelm and self-doubt. Be part of a 1-1 coaching, so you learn from their challenges, mistakes, and success on building a business. Every FRIDAY, Danny talks about his progress, too. The show also features experienced entrepreneurs who share their story and give tips on specific issues encountered by our entrepreneurs.
At StartupGeist, we believe that entrepreneurs are NOT born. We are self-made. This podcast is not your traditional show on Entrepreneurship with witty quotes about “failing fast and often,” but an honest look at the good, bad, and ugly. You will unleash your potential and embrace the never-ending growth journey that is overwhelming and exciting at the same time. You are not alone in this.
